As a step towards enhancing the navigational experience in the city space, Jalandhar smart city installed traffic way finding and signage. Wayfinding is particularly important in complex built environments such as urban centres, healthcare and campuses, and transportation facilities.
As cities become more developed, people need visual cues such as maps, directions, and symbols to help guide them to their destinations. In these often high-stress environments, effective way finding systems contribute to a sense of well-being, safety, and security.
